Populating the Latitude/Longitude in the Site worksheet auto-creates the subject location map and the comparable maps for each analysis grid.
What's the best way to set the latitude and longitude for your subject?
LightBox suggests using the subject import feature as the most ideal way to populate the Latitude/Longitude in the Site worksheet.
Step 1.
Create a new property in your database by clicking the Add Property button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Step 2.
Enter the address for your subject property. If your property does not have a street address, enter as much location data as you can.
Step 3.
Click the View Map button and set the Latitude/Longitude for your subject. You may need to click the map to appropriately place the subject's location. Click the Apply Lat/Long button.
Step 4.
Click Save and take note of the property ID in the Property Information bar. (Highlighted below)
Step 5.
Open a new template and enter the property ID in the cell designated.

Step 6.
Click the Import Subject Data button and the property information entered will auto import. Your subject's latitude/longitude will be filled in on the Site worksheet.
What if I have already entered data for the subject in my excel report?
You can utilize google maps to derive your latitude/longitude
1. Enter the address in google maps
2. Right click on the property
3. Click the lat/long (this will automatically copy the lat/long for you)
4. Paste into the site worksheet in the appropriate fields
