Dashboards
In this video, we'll explore Narrative1's Dashboard - a tool designed to help you create new projects and promote file organization.
File Info
In this video, we'll explore the very first worksheet featured within Narrative1 Excel. Data entry fields, importing N1 Web records to be featured as a new projects subject, importing contacts, and the various functions surrounding workbook navigation and organization will also be discussed.
Contracts and History
In this video, we'll explore the various transaction fields sections available to you on Contracts and History. Furthermore, we'll introduce how users can save the current subject as an appraisal record within their N1 database.
Dates, Premises
In Dates and Premises, we'll take a look at the various As Is, As Complete, As Stabilized, and report date fields. In addition, we'll introduce another major N1 function - The List Manager - and how it can be used to create and modify drop-down lists.
Scope
In this short video, we'll take a quick look at how you can go about defining your scope of work. In addition, we'll talk about how you can designate your report type, and the spot where you can enter in the valuation methods being entertained in your report, along with the rationale for why these methods are applicable.
Market Area
The Market Area worksheet is entirely optional worksheet, but in this video we take the time to explore some of it's unique features, along with the concept of fields and tables, and instances in the software where color coding conventions might be ignored.
Assessment
In this video, we'll explore the Assessment worksheet, noting how the first initial table we see - the input table - is the only place where data is entered. From there, we'll watch as that data is funneled through the worksheet into the summary tables, and discuss how those tables can be configured to reflect different needs.
Site
For the Site worksheet, we'll take some time to talk a little bit about the input and summary table. In addition, we'll discuss how you can configure the worksheet for more parcels, and how you can automatically calculate each parcel's latitude and longitude using Google Maps.
On the Improvements worksheet, we'll distinguish between the initial summary table and the input table (Buildings 1-10) located below it. In addition, we'll briefly talk about how you can show and hide certain data rows.
This video provides an overview of the Zoning worksheet, describing the manual entry fields,
drop-down fields, and more.
Land and Sales Grid
In this video, we'll equally explore the Land and Sales Grids as a result of their visual and functional similarities. Here, we'll talk about how records from N1 Web can be imported into the worksheets, how row headers can be modified to reflect a desired outcome, and how each record then has a corresponding summary table. Finally, the last feature to be introduced is Print or Copy Tables, available from the N1 Ribbon.
Lease Grid
On the Lease Grid, we'll differentiate between Lease comps and Sale Comps and how tenant information can be expressed on the worksheet. In addition, we'll talk about how this worksheet can be used for multifamily purposes, and some solutions for different use cases.
Rent Roll
On the Rent Roll, we'll explain how you can begin using the Rent Roll with the Set-Up Table, and how information from the Set-Up Table filters down throughout the rest of this worksheet.
Capitalization and Multipliers
This video will explore where some of the information from Capitalization and Multipliers is drawn from, how you can designate between performing a simple fee or leased fee analysis, and list expenses.
