Modifying a contact requires Administrator privileges.
1. Open Contact Management Window
The Contact Management window can be accessed from any blue Client, Appraiser, or Property Contact button located on the left-hand side of the File Info worksheet.
Each button will take you to the same place: the Contact Management window.
2. Select the Contacts Tab
Ensure that the Contacts tab is selected. If you aren't sure if you're in the right place, simply hit ALT+C on your keyboard to instantly open the tab.
3. Click New
Toward the right-hand side of the window are your functions. Clicking New will allow you to begin the process for creating a new contact.
When you first enter the Contacts tab, you may find an X in the ID section. Clicking New will replace the X with a number; once the number has appeared, you can continue.
4. Fill Out Data Fields
The left-hand side of the window belong to your data fields. Fill out every field that is relevant to you.
5. Click Save
After you have successfully finished entering in your data, click the Save button located to the right of the data fields to ensure all of your data is backed-up to the database.
It might be helpful to click Save regularly as you work to prevent data loss.
